Terms of use
Ninefold Sudoku is provided by Shup LLC. By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies where these terms are silent.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Ninefold Sudoku on Apple devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, redistribute or sell the app, its puzzles, artwork, audio or lessons.
Free play
The daily variant, the daily Sprint, practice puzzles, lessons, streaks and statistics are free. Free play is supported by ads shown only on the completion screen. Hints are free by choice; a hint balance is provided and can be topped up by watching optional rewarded ads.
Purchases
All purchases are made through Apple's App Store in your Apple Account and are subject to Apple's terms. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you confirm.
- Ad-Free (one-time): removes ads permanently on all your devices signed in to the same Apple Account, and includes 50 hints.
- Starter Pack (one-time, offered once in the first day): 40 hints and the Aurora theme.
- Hint packs and Streak Freezes (consumable): added to your balance immediately and consumed on use. Consumed items cannot be restored or refunded.
- Ninefold Premium (auto-renewable subscription, monthly or yearly): no ads, unlimited hints, the full archive, every theme and advanced stats. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. The subscription renews automatically at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. The yearly plan may include a 3-day free trial for new subscribers; any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Restore Purchases in Settings re-downloads non-consumable purchases and active subscriptions for the same Apple Account. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policy; we cannot issue them directly.
Fair play
Leaderboards use Game Center. Do not manipulate results, exploit bugs or use automation. We may remove scores that we believe were not achieved by playing.
Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue features, puzzles, prices or the app itself. Purchased non-consumables and active subscriptions continue to work for as long as the app is available on the App Store. Puzzle banks, ad frequency and feature flags may be adjusted through remote configuration.
Intellectual property
Ninefold Sudoku, its puzzle engine, lessons, artwork, sound design and name are owned by Shup LLC. Sudoku as a puzzle form is not ours; our specific puzzles, presentation and text are.
Disclaimer and liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shup LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived.
Termination
You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend access if these terms are breached.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at Shup LLC's place of establishment, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
